Terms and Conditions

1. Payment Terms

- Deposit: A non-refundable deposit is required to secure the event date and services. The deposit will be applied to the final balance. Once a deposit has been made the client and the caterer will be bound to the Terms and Conditions.

- Final Payment: The remaining balance is due 7 days before the event date.

- Late Payment: Late payments will incur a £20 late fee per day on the outstanding balance.


 

2. Cancellation Policy

- Client Cancellation:

- Cancellations made within 6 days of the event will forfeit the full payment.

- Caterer Cancellation: In the unlikely event that the Caterer must cancel services, a full refund of all payments, including the deposit, will be issued.

 

3. Menu and Guest Count

- Final Menu: The final menu selection must be provided no later than 5 days prior to the event.

- Guest Count: The Client must confirm the final number of guests no later than 5 days before the event. The Client will be billed based on this confirmed guest count, regardless of attendance. Increases in guest count after this date are subject to approval by the Caterer and may incur additional fees.

 

4. Service and Staff

- Staffing: The Caterer will provide staff based on the confirmed number of guests and the event’s requirements. Additional staff may be provided upon request for an extra fee.

- Service Time: The catering services will be provided during the agreed-upon times. Any service extensions or overtime will incur additional charges.

 

5. Food

- Quality and Presentation: The Caterer guarantees that all food will be prepared and presented in accordance with high standards.

- Allergies and Dietary Restrictions: The Client must inform the Caterer of any allergies or dietary restrictions at the time of menu confirmation. While the Caterer will make every effort to accommodate such requests, the Client acknowledges that the Caterer is not liable for any adverse reactions caused by the food.

- Leftovers: In compliance with health and safety regulations, leftover food will not be provided to the Client unless prior arrangements have been made. Any such food taken is at the Client’s own risk, and the Caterer will not be held liable for any subsequent food-borne illnesses.

 

6. Equipment and Rentals

  • Damage: The Client is responsible for any damages to catering equipment or rental items caused by the Client, guests, or other vendors during the event.

 

7. Liability

- The Caterer will take all necessary precautions to ensure the safety and quality of the food provided. However, the Caterer will not be held liable for any unforeseen accidents, delays, or issues beyond their control, including but not limited to weather, venue restrictions, or utility failures.

- The Client agrees to indemnify and hold the Caterer harmless for any claims arising from the actions of the Client, guests, or third parties at the event.

 

8. Force Majeure

- The Caterer is not responsible for failure to fulfil this Agreement due to events beyond their control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, strikes, government restrictions, or other unforeseen circumstances.

 

9. Changes to Terms

- The Caterer reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated to the Client in writing.
